Ruby Valley Food Pantry The Ruby Valley Food Pantry is located in New Beginnings Christian Fellowship at 114 N. Main, Sheridan, Montana. The food pantry is open on the following days: Monday: noon - 2:00 pm and Saturday: 10:00 am - noon. The food pantry is available to anyone in the community in need of emergency food supplies.The food pantry is a community run and sponsored organization. It operates completely on volunteer services and from cash and food donations from throughout the community. Many local organizations, churches, businesses and individuals donate non-perishable food, meat, bread and personal hygiene items. Several times a year different organizations will hold food drives for the food pantry. Cash donations are also made to the food pantry. Those funds are used to purchase vouchers at the local grocery store so families can get milk, eggs and fresh produce. Cash donations are also used to purchase food supplies for the pantry when needed. The Ruby Valley Food Pantry is a non-profit 501C Corporation so all cash donations are tax deductible. Donations can be made at the following places. Sheridan: New Beginnings Christian Fellowship, Bethel United Methodist Church, Jensen's Family Market, Walter's IGA Twin Bridges: McAlear Grocery. The Food Pantry Board would like to thank the local businesses, organizations, churches and individuals who have made contributions. Your generous donations have made it possible for the food pantry to supply much needed emergency food to local families in this community. |
