Sheridan Pool Repairs Made

Last year's operation of the Sheridan Pool saw the need for major repairs, including a new liner and boiler, both items very costly, totaling over $54,000. 

At a meeting of the Pool Board recently Frank and Linda Hoch offered a matching donation of $15,000 provided the board could raise an additional $45,000 by January, 2004. 

The funds have now been raised, a year ahead of schedule and the pool now has the needed liner and boiler, which will also reduce energy use, as well as costs for chemical treatment.

The community pizza night raised over $1,000 toward the cost of the new cover for the pool.
