Committee Meeting Notice

The Republican Central Committee of Madison County will hold its next meeting on Thursday May 1, 2008 at the office of Town Center Mortgage, 117 E. Main St. Ennis, MT from 7pm to 8:30pm. The meeting is open to all interested persons, regardless of party affiliation.

The agenda for the meeting will include the following:

Old Business – Update on the Lincoln Reagan Day Dinner/Fund Raiser. The date for the event will be June 7, 2008 and will be held at the Elks Club in Virginia City. It is intended that all Republican candidates in Montana with policy that affects Madison County will be invited to attend and to address the group on their individual platform, in addition to addressing topics of interest by County residents.

New Business – Madison County has an opportunity to be heard in Helena. There are a number of issues regarding current and future legislation that will have direct impact on this county. It is the intention of the County Central Committee to form a consolidated position on a number of issues that face the County and its residents. In addition our positions can be brought forward at the June 19th Montana GOP Convention during the Party Platform review.
